Mic Ja opened the doors of Ja Yoga in 2008 as one of the first yoga studios in Long Beach. Mic wanted to create a yoga practice that integrated his love of the chakra system and bring in physical and mental health through yoga. Each day of the week encompasses a different chakra and body focus to ensure one can strengthen and stretch the whole body. In addition, he relaxes ones mind by taking his students on a journey through his story telling. Ja Yoga was created as a sanctuary to make everyone feel safe and welcome while creating health and vitality during their practice.
